If you're looking for a way to stay warm and look great, this cotton scarf featuring an endangered leatherback turtle is for you. Printed on 100% cotton, this scarf is lightweight and thin, but strong and durable. It's soft feel makes it perfect for everyday wear all year round.
Leatherback turtles are named for their shell, which is leather-like rather than hard, like other turtles. They are also the largest sea turtle species.
Numbers of leatherback turtles have seriously declined during the last century as a result of intense egg collection and fisheries bycatch. Globally, leatherback status according to IUCN is listed as Vulnerable, but many subpopulations (such as in the Pacific and Southwest Atlantic) are Critically Endangered.
Our goal is to raise awareness of endangered animals through our scarves so we can donate 10% of our profits to charities working towards protecting our endangered species that we share our planet with.
